SMS Program Information

1. Program Summary

Biographi can send storytelling prompts and reminders by SMS when a storyteller has explicitly opted in.

2. How Opt-In Works

We only send SMS messages after clear, affirmative consent is provided through a dedicated opt-in action (for example, an unchecked checkbox in our UI). Consent is collected separately from general account sign-up and identifies Biographi as the sender.

Consent to SMS is never bundled with accepting Terms of Service, creating an account, or providing a phone number.

The account owner is responsible for confirming the storyteller has opted in before enabling SMS delivery.

3. SMS Is Optional

SMS messaging is optional and is not required to use Biographi. Story prompts can also be delivered through other supported channels (such as email).

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

4. Message Frequency and Fees

Message frequency varies based on your selected schedule (for example, daily or weekly prompts) and conversation activity.

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.

5. Opt-Out and Help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS. For help, reply HELP.

You may also contact support to revoke consent and disable SMS delivery.
